1. Introduction

Welcome to Checkride Flashcards (“the App”). The App provides aviation study flashcards aligned with FAA ACS standards for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, and Certified Flight Instructor applicants.

2. App Services

The App includes the following features:

• ACS-aligned flashcard decks for multiple pilot certificates and ratings
• One question per card with detailed answer explanations
• FAR/AIM and FAA handbook references on relevant cards
• Color-coded deck organization and progress tracking
• Offline study access for purchased content

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

Some content or features may require a one-time purchase or subscription. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

4. User Rights and Obligations

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Share, resell, or distribute App content outside of the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure
• Circumvent any access controls or licensing restrictions

5. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App or these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be posted with reasonable notice when possible. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Checkride Flashcards is intended for study and reference only and is not a substitute for formal flight instruction, FAA publications, or your CFI’s guidance.

We are not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of the App, including errors or omissions in flashcard content, service interruptions, or loss of data.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
